THE sentencing of a 23-year-old charged with attempted robbery and possession of a gun after breaking into a home in Witney has been delayed.
Andreas Hegedus, of Burford Road in Witney, has been charged with attempted robbery, and possession of an imitation firearm.

The charges relate to an incident on Corn Street on December 29, 2023 where a suspect was said to have forced entry into a home.

Hegedus was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday (April 30).
However, the case has now been adjourned until May 24.
The defendant also faces charges of failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident, driving without third-party insurance and driving without a licence from a separate incident on July 25, 2023.
