A PURSE was stolen from a woman as she donated money to a 'charity' in Wallingford.
The incident took place at about 2pm yesterday (Wednesday, May 1) in the Waitrose car park in St Martin's Street in the town.
A woman in her 20s was approached by a woman with a ‘disabled centre for the deaf’ board, asking for donations.
The woman proceeded to give a small donation and put her purse back inside her bag.

However, she later discovered her purse was stolen along with a large amount of money.
The offender has been described by police as a 'white female, in her late teens or early 20s, with dark hair' who was 'around 5ft 5inch tall, and was wearing a surgical face mask and white jacket'.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to contact them quoting reference number 43240200662.
