Sophie Pomroy, an apprentice at Oxford University Hospitals has won the Silver award in the Apprentice of the Year category of the Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards 2019.
She was recognised for her outstanding ability to quickly and adapt to the level of responsibility she has taken on following staff changes.

After winning her award, Sophie said: “To be awarded the Silver award for Apprentice of the Year is an incredible honour so early on in my career and my apprenticeship journey. Being recognised for the hard work I have put into the role is the best feeling, and I hope to continue to inspire and engage future apprentices within the NHS.”
