AN OXFORD hairdresser has reached the finals of a national awards with this eccentric hair she designed in lockdown.
Anne Veck, the director of Anne Veck salon in Oxford, has beaten the competition to earn a place in the final round of the Most Wanted awards.
Ms Veck is one of five who could win big in the 'Creative Talent' and 'Hair Trend' categories.

Her work is called 'Toxic Fashion' and is about sustainability and 'the fashion industry's lack of ethical values'.
She said: “For all hair salons across the country, the last few months has been an incredibly challenging time, but I was determined to use this ‘downtime’ for positive action.
"My collection is something that I worked on during lockdown and I am thrilled that it has been selected for the finals of the Most Wanted Awards.”
The winner will be announced on November 9.
