OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

RAMAN SHIED, 19, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted driving without a licence and without third party insurance on November 11 on Park Road in Banbury. He also admitted being in possession of cannabis, a class A drug, on November 11. He was fined £240, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points. He was also ordered to forfeit the drugs to the police to be destroyed.

SIMON GRANITO, 46, of Rye Gardens, Abingdon, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on September 23 by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on February 9 and 23. He was sentenced for the original offence of intending to cause harassment, alarm or distress on September 20 in Sutton Courtenay, Abingdon. He was made subject to a community order and must be under electronic monitoring for eight weeks. He was also ordered to pay legal costs of £60.

RICARDO FERNANDES DA SILVA, 47, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on Ambassador Avenue, Oxford, on October 3. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JOHN MATTHEWS, 33, of Bader Drive, Upper Heyford, admitted breaching the requirements of a community order made by St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 6, 2018 by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on July 12, 19 and 26, 2018. He was dealt with for the original offence and was made subject to a new community order. As part of that he must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

ELLIE THORN, 20, of Crista Place, Carterton, admitted drink-driving on the B4477 in Oxfordshire on November 4. She had 57mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. She was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

GERALD WAMAE, 50, of Blackbird Leys Road, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on February 16 at Aylesbury Police Station. He was jailed for 16 weeks because the offence is ‘so serious’ and aggravated by the defendant’s previous record of offending. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £128 and has been banned from holding a driving licence for 60 months.

JOHN MATTHEWS, 33, of Bader Drive, Upper Heyford, admitted driving without third party insurance and driving whilst disqualified on September 8 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ASHLEY LEWIS, 28, of The Avenue, Banbury, admitted drug-driving on August 6 in Banbury. He had 15mcg of cocaine in his blood, above the legal limit of 10mcg as well as 200mcg of benzoclygonine in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He has been disqualified from driving for 36 months.

REGGIE SMITH, 32, of Ballard Close, Chipping Norton, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Middle Barton. He was made subject to a restraining order and must not contact the victim directly or indirectly. He was also fined £75, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

PAUL CARTER, 51, of Leys Road, Cumnor, near Oxford, admitted assault by beating of a man on January 18. He was fined £200, ordered to pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

THOMAS STEER, 28, of Tedbury Drive, Witney, admitted criminal damage to a Town Hall Notice Board, costing £150, from Witney on September 12. He was ordered to pay compensation of £150.

SASHO AVRAMOVSKI, 50, of Littlemore Road, Oxford, admitted driving with no insurance on September 1 in Tubney, Oxfordshire. He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

GARRY COFFEY, 35, of Kenilworth Way, Banbury, was convicted of driving without third party insurance and a licence on November 6 in Banbury. He was fined £880, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with eight penalty points.

NATHAN MORGAN, 21, of Esingdon Drive, Thame, admitted driving without insurance on October 12 in Thame. He was fined £424, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £42 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

STEWART SCHOLES, 34, of Pembroke Place, Bampton, was convicted of driving without a licence and third party insurance on January 28 in Black Bourton, Oxfordshire. He wad fined £880, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

YOUNGSEOK SEO, 45, of Market Square, Bicester, admitted driving without a licence and third party insurance on December 21 in Bicester. He was fined £614, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £46 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six points.

NAVEEN KANURI, 24, of Girdlestone Close, Headington, was convicted of driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on the A4183 Oxford Road in Abingdon on August 4. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

KARL MILGATE, 39, of Lancaster Avenue, Wallingford, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone on the A4010 New Road, in High Wycombe, on November 8. He was fined £501, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

DUDAN ALI, 50, of Merganser Drive, Bicester, admitted carrying an offensive weapon - namely a baseball bat - in a public place, namely Sheep Street in Bicester, on December 18, 2019. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, and also ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

JOSE BERNARDO DA CONCEICAO QUARESMA, 47, of Furrow Crescent, Curbridge, near Witney, admitted drink-driving on Upland Park Road in Oxford on October 24, 2020. Had 88mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. He was fined £350 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.
