A PENSIONER was kicked in the ankles by thugs pushing a bike.

At around 6.45pm on March 8, the 74-year-old man was walking along Banbury Road in Oxford, near to the junction with Thorncliffe Road.

Two men, who he didn’t know, were also walking on the pavement – one of them was pushing a bike.

The man with the bike unleashed a violent attack - kicking the elderly man in the ankles, leaving him with sore, bruised legs.

He then starting shouted verbal abuse.

Police want to the find the attacker – who is described as olive-skinned, slim, in his early to mid-20s, around 6ft tall with a slight black beard. At the time he was wearing dark clothing.

Investigators also want to speak with a woman who went to check the man was okay by the pedestrian crossing near Oakthorpe Road.
