An Oxfordshire school has announced it has closed today in an emergency decision.
Burford School released a statement saying the site would close after period three today, May 3.

The co-educational state boarding school is in Cheltenham Road in Burford, around 18 miles west of Oxford.
The school said parents could see further details on the closure through ParentMail.

The closure was not listed on the Oxfordshire County Council's site, where similar closures are normally listed, at the time of writing.
Burford School has been contacted for comment by the Oxford Mail.
