TIM Senior rolled back the years with an outstanding century as Shipton-under-Wychwood ran out 43-run winners at home to Didcot in Tier 1A.

The hosts got off to a flying start as Senior and Steve Bates shared an opening stand of 62.

When Bates was run out, Dee Jarvis fell lbw for a duck two balls later, but Senior, who scored exactly 100 in 95 balls, held the innings together.

His knock contained 11 fours and three sixes, and with useful contributions throughout, the home side closed on 233-9 in their 40 overs.

Young spinner Rory King returned superb figures of 5-44.

Didcot lost wickets at regular intervals in reply, with Richard Underdown (37) and No 10 Jordan Morrison (32) the main contributors as they were bowled out for 190 with three balls remaining.

Abdullah Saqiqui claimed match-winning figures of 6-16 in six overs as Sandford St Martin beat Tiddington by 51 runs.

George Welch (36) and Steve Dobson (32) helped hosts Sandford to 183-9 in their 40 overs, before Sadiqui took centre-stage with his magnificent haul sending Tiddington tumbling to 132 all out.

Cumnor made it two wins from three as they beat hosts Challow & Childrey by seven wickets.

Tom Powell starred with 5-18 in Challow’s 129 all out, before hitting 43 as Cumnor eased home at 131-3.

Jonathan Jenkinson (5-22) and Paul White (4-21) spun Abingdon Vale to a narrow win at Bledlow Village.

The hosts were all out for 142, but Vale struggled in their reply, and were thankful to Max Owen (39no) to see them just across the line at 143-9.

In Tier 1B, Brad Ward struck 75 and Saim Hussain 67 to help Cropredy to a 21-run win against visitors Westbury.

Cropredy racked up 223-4 in their 40 overs.

Charlie Williams scored 78 in Westbury’s reply, but they fell to 202 all out.

Aston Rowant 2nd saw off visitors Buckingham Town 2nd by four wickets.

Adam Muttitt claimed 3-18 to help restrict Buckingham to 140-8 and then Ben Porter (39) and Rishi Pandya (32) led Rowant to 143-6 in the 29th over.

Elsewhere. Banbury 2nd chased down Bicester & North Oxford’s 151-9 to win by eight wickets, while Twyford brushed aside Dinton by 97 runs after setting 275-4 and bowling their hosts out for 178.

Pablo Mukherjee’s unbeaten century was in vain as Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts fell to a six-wicket defeat at Thame 2nd in Tier 2A.

Opener Mukherjee struck 108 not out, including 15 fours, as Nondies set 195-6, but Rafe Dickie (86no) and Christian Warwick (85no) led Thame to 196-4 with more than six overs to spare.

Minster Lovell defeated Oxford Downs 2nd by 64 runs.

Batting first, Minster posted 240-9 as Elliot Graham (54), Caspar Mannix (47) and Jacob Mayers (42) shone.

Darryl Woods then hit 54 in Downs’ reply, but 4-21 from spinner Harry Ebsworth restricted the visitors to 176-8.

An unbeaten half-century for Adam Mayho (54no) helped Witney Mills to a

six-wicket win over Oxford 2nd.

Pierre Lefort took 3-17 in Oxford’s 131 all out, then Mayho and Sam Haselgrove (37) led Mills to 133-4 in 23 overs.

Stokenchurch racked up 235 all out, Arshad Latif (69) top-scoring, as they beat East Oxford by 154 runs.

The visitors were shot out for just 81 in their reply as Joe Sears took 5-25.

Horley saw off Banbury 3rd by 32 runs in Tier 2B.

Craig Lynes hit 48 in Horley’s 211-8, Charlie Haselgrove taking 3-40.

Banbury were cruising at 120-2, Rory McWade hitting 56 and Haselgrove 41, but Jon Hart took 3-37 as Banbury slumped to 179 all out.

Horspath 2nd fell to a seven-wicket defeat at Leighton Buzzard Town.

Dom O’Connor struck 82 in Horspath’s 187-7, but Buzzard made light work of the target, cruising to 188-3 in 32 overs as Jack Kempster hit 86.

Elsewhere, Brackley beat Bletchley Town by eight wickets, while Long Marston 2nd saw off Great Brickhill 2nd by the same margin.

George and Will Woodley starred for Kingston Bagpuize as they saw off Great & Little Tew by seven wickets in Tier 3A.

George took 5-18 as Kingston dismissed their hosts for just 99 in 24.4 overs, before younger brother Will struck 55 not out to steer his side to 102-3 in the 15th over.

In Tier 3B, Luke Mitchell returned amazing figures of 5-6 to help Abingdon Vale 2nd to a 46-run win over Bledlow Village 2nd.

Vale had posted 193-9 in their 40 overs, Rob Hood top-scoring with 35.

Mitchell then turned the screw with his five-wicket haul as Bledlow fell for 147 in their reply.

Oliver Gray’s unbeaten century helped Cumnor 2nd to an eight-wicket win over Bledlow Ridge.

The visitors set 222-6 in their 40 overs, but Gray struck 101 not out to steer Cumnor to 226-2.

Minster Lovell 2nd’s clash with Oxford 3rd ended in a thrilling tie in Tier 4A.

Oxford were shot out for 137 as Ben Spencer took three wickets without conceding a run, Chris Morgan 3-9 and Jake Spearman 3-26.

In reply, Neil Spearman (42) and Charlie Driver (30) got Minster close, but they ended on 137-7.

In Tier 5A, Horspath 4th eased to an eight-wicket win at Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd.

Nondies were 180 all out in 36 overs, Ed Oakley taking 3-24.

Jamie Stead (98no) and Jonathan Hedges (55) then led Horspath to 184-2 with more than six overs to spare.

Oliver Brooks struck an unbeaten century to help Great & Little Tew 2nd to a 49-run win at Shipton-under-Wychwood 4th in Tier 6.

Brooks hit 104 not out in Tew’s 244-6, before Shipton were restricted to 195-9 in their reply.
